 FAQs

  • This year the street fest is happening over three consecutive days:

    • Friday, May 3, 2024

    • Saturday, May 4th, 2024

    • Sunday, May 5th, 2024

  • NOON - MIDNIGHT (all three days)

Officially the street fest is between noon and midnight on all days, but some of the bars and restaurants on the street might keep the party going later!

  • The street fest takes place on Stone Street in the Financial District, a pedestrian only cobblestone street located between 85 Broad St and Hannover Square.

  • No, food and drinks will sold by the participating businesses located on the street. (For reasonable and affordable prices!)

  • YES! The street festival is happening rain or shine (unless there’s an extreme weather event like a hurricane, of course). In the event of rain, the street is prepared with lots of back up tents covering most of the street — but we still recommend bringing an umbrella in case it gets crowded.

And yes, the outdoor bars will still be set up outside in the street under tents if it is raining!

  • Yes, you may bring children to the street fest to enjoy the street food and entertainment.

However, Cinco de Mayo often turns into a pretty boozy celebration and may not be the most suitable environment for children in the later hours — if you want to bring your kids we’d suggest coming between noon-3 pm, before it gets too rowdy.

  • Yes! Dogs are allowed at the street fest as long as they are leashed and kept under control by their owners :)
